Getting Started with Hummingbot (Mac & Windows)

If you do not have a PingPing & Gritbot configured please place an order to continue following along with tutorial:

Getting Started

Hummingbot allows you to run trading strategies remotely from your local computer or cloud server like AWS instances.

For this example we will focus on local PC.

Setting Up:

A. Import/Create Strategy

Import either the PingPong bot or Gritbot with import yourstrategy

B. Connect Exchange

Connect to your exchange with connect yourexchange

C. Config Additional Parameters

D. Start/Stop Bot – Leave Running Window Open on Local PC

As long as your window is open, you’ll bot will stay running.

Run Multiple Strategies – Multiple Hummingbot Windows

If you want to run both configurations simultaneously you will need 2 separate windows like so:

  1. Go to tab

2. You will need to Right Click on the Hummingbot tab and then Left Click to open a new window of Hummingbot.

Then a new window of Hummingbot will open and you will have 2 tabs like this.
